Self-Serve Medical Kiosks
October 15, 2013 | Terry Sharrer
Two weeks ago, Tagline had a piece about Walmart’s plan to introduce full service primary care facilities at its rural stores in five to seven years. This piece describes a start with telemed kiosks in the pharmacy of a suburban Minneapolis Walmart. People can use the online service to check on vital signs and simple medical conditions—perhaps conditioning shoppers to get a quick check up while waiting to have their prescriptions filled. It is a free service. The kiosks are made by Solo Health (Duluth, GA). MORE
