Hillier Ignite, a philanthropic organization in Virginia Beach, VA, has awarded its first “Lifesaving Innovation Award” to InfraScan, Inc. (Philadelphia, PA) for a hand held hematoma detector that uses infrared imaging to identify bleeding in the brain. The portable device operates from two AA batteries. MORE
