Heart Attack Sensor

Angel Medical Systems (Shrewsbury, NJ) has developed a two part cardiac monitor that can detect relatively minor arrhythmia events and more serious crises from low blood or oxygen flow. The first part is a pacemaker-sized implantable device; the second is a pager worn on the belt that beeps an alert and signals the severity with yellow or red flashing lights. AngelMED already has EU and Brazil commercial approval and is awaiting the same from the USFDA. MORE
