Several new technologies are competing in the drug delivery space for precision medicine, including antibody and nanoparticle designs. This piece, describing work at Quingdou University of Science and Technology in China, shows that magnetic crystals can be made to an effective size and porous enough to carry a drug. Then an external magnet draws those laden crystals to a site in the body where they will be most beneficial. Indeed, the crystals are superparamagnetic. MORE
