Synthetic Anti-Venom Nanoparticle

With pains-taking trial and error methods (aka “directed evolution”) researchers at the University of California-Irvine have made nanoparticles that act as broad spectrum sequestration and neutralization agents for poisonous snake and bee bites. Thus far these particles have only been tested in vitro, but the results are promising enough to anticipate an injectable version for humans. MORE
