Electronic Tattoos; Amazing

I’ll leave it to the scientists and engineers among our readers to figure out a medical application for electronic ink; I’m just amazed and a little creeped out that it exists. In brief, microcapsules of semiconductor material are implanted in the papillary dermis (just like a traditional tattoo) and then activated by a Bluetooth signal from a smartphone to display changing images on the skin.
