Wearable Ultrasound Device for Wound Healing

Researchers at Drexel University in Philadelphia have shown that a low frequency (20 kilohertz) ultrasound, applied through a skin patch for 15 minute intervals, can speed up the healing of venus ulcers. Venus ulcers are the most common kind of chronic wound and can be extremely expensive to manage if left to fester. MORE
