Oxford University scientists have developed a 3-D printing method that mimics natural tissue. The printed “cells” are water droplets containing different proteins that are encapsulated in oil droplets. When they are deposited on a mesh, the oil droplets form single or multi-layer structures which then can be manipulated by changes in pH and temperature. MORE
