It still takes a willing suspension of disbelief to imagine human-like robots assisting disabled people in every day living. But, quite possibly, with an aging population’s arthritis, muscle mass decline, and balance issues, along with war-related injuries, the need for these remarkable androids, the money to afford them, and their social acceptability among users may bring about a change that seems far-fetched today.
