Variable Dose Jet Injector

Air-jet vaccinators have been around since the smallpox eradication campaign, but engineers at MIT have improved the design to permit variable doses of drugs to be injected directly into the blood stream. Among other uses, this device can deliver drugs into the eye and, through the ear drum, to the inner ear. A video shows the design details. MORE
