Robotic UV-Sterilizers

This piece describes (with video) a housekeeping robot made by Xenex (Austin, TX), which uses UV light to sterilize a hospital room. Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA found that this machine reduced clostridium difficile infections by 67% (which 1 in 129 patients presented before the Xenex robot). The machine costs $80k to buy, but it can be leased. MORE WITH VIDEO
