Stephen S. Hall

This piece references an article the excellent science writer Stephen Hall published in Scientific American last March, which gives an overview of stem cell technology-but more importantly, describes how induced pluripotent stem cells are being used to create living “disease models” for drug testing.  Of course, the long term vision for IPSC’s is in regenerative medicine which may turn out to be the cutting edge of personalized medicine.  MORE
