Kompai Robot

At a recent long term care insurance conference, the French company Robosoft (Bidart, France) introduced its humanoid robot that takes spoken commands, remains permanently connected to the Internet, has a touch screen monitor for information display, and can move about a home before automatically returning to its docking station for a battery recharge.  The company imagines “Kompai” will allow elderly or disabled people to live more independently in their own homes.        MORE
