Relying on genomic profiling data, researchers at the Translational Genomics Research Institute in Phoenix, and nearby Scottsdale Health, have discovered through computer simulation a signaling pathway, the Wnt/–catetin complex, that is implicated in many cases of small cell lung cancer and some large cell lung cancers. Further, two antileukemia drugs inhibit that pathway and now may be applied to these lung tumors.    MORE
