Thomas Lango, an engineer with SINTEF-a large independent research organization in Norway-have been working with physicians to develop a “smart capsule” called “Vector” that is part camera and part sample collector that a patient swallows.  Unlike existing camera pills, this device can move, stop, reverse and proceed as the doctor’s computer commands.  The article describing this device also mentions other SINTEF projects.     MORE
