Health Insurance Census

The US Census Bureau recently published statistics for 2005 on health insurance coverage by county in the US. The data also include coverage by age, sex, race, Hispanic origin and income categories. State data showed that Minnesota and Hawaii had the lowest rates of uninsured health coverage, while Texas, New Mexico and Florida had the highest. Over all, 17.2% of Americans did not have health insurance coverage in 2005. SEE
