Stryker’s Surgical Robot for Knee Replacements

About a million arthroplasties (joint replacements) are performed worldwide annually, and many of them are bloody affairs, with risks of complications, infection, and readmission to the hospital. Stryker (Kalamazoo, MI) has a new surgical robot that supposedly does a better job of this procedure, cutting the 30 day complication rate (for readmission) by 36%. MORE
