Necrotizing hemorrhagic encephalopathy

COVID-19’s symptoms are still sorting out, but perhaps its most frightening manifestation is acute necrotizing hemorrhagic encephalopathy.  In effect, this is a meltdown of the brain.  As terrible as this first wave has been, the second may be worse — testing whether people learned anything from the first.  Keep in mind too that much of the hope for a safe, effective vaccine is coming from corporate news releases.  MORE
