Vision-Driven Wheelchair

A British inventor, suffering from ALS, has applied an eye-operating system to control his electric wheelchair. The components of this “Eyedrivomatic” appliance is an electronic “hand” that fits over the wheelchair’s joystick, and a “brain box” containing the vision navigation circuits. Simply put, the wheelchair goes where the rider looks. Software that connects the two controllers is open sourced and available for free. MORE
