GI Camera Pill with its Own Light Source

Camera pills have been around for a few years, but they require an external light source to produce an image. To improve this situation, engineers at the University of Glasgow have designed a camera pill that produces its own light—fluorescent light—as it passes through the gastrointestinal tract.
