Profiling Prostate Cancer

The PSA assay for prostate cancer is notoriously inaccurate, opening the way for a better diagnostic of this major killer. To that end, researchers at the University of Cambridge have developed a platform for analyzing 100 genes which combines both expression levels and copy number variations. The report says that this tool outperforms the OncoType DX prostate cancer assay. MORE
