Rite Aid’s Medical Kiosks

Telemedicine kiosks offer effective, efficient and equitable means for resolving most of the non-life-threatening medical conditions people commonly face. Yet, rather than illustrating an attractive innovation, kiosks seem to indicate that healthcare may be the least innovative of industries. Slowly, though, that is changing as this piece tells. Some Rite Aid pharmacies in three Ohio cities are installing HealthSpot’s 40 square feet teleconferencing kiosks with digital instruments and relying on Cleveland Clinic medical staff for monitoring.
