3-D printing continues to open new possibilities in health care—this one being a printed “exoskeleton” for setting broken bones. The advantages, from its open lattice structure, are that it is customizable, ultra light, recyclable and shower-friendly. It originated from a designer in Wellington, N.Z., but has not yet become a commercial product. MORE
