Computational Analysis of ADHD

Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder can be a problem in elementary schools, but it also is implicated in violent behavior for lifelong sufferers. Using a computer based analysis program called the “Qb Test,” from QbTech (Stockholm, Sweden), researchers at Kings College London studied ADHD in prison inmates to predict how hyperactivity, inattention and impulsivity generate violence. Obviously, the aim is to improve treatment and reduce costs in this singularly most expensive form of health care. MORE
