One of telemedicine’s strengths is in supporting patients with psychiatric problems—particularly for medication adherence. But this piece reports findings at Case Western Reserve University that mothers experiencing postpartum depression have benefited from counseling when the patient is anonymous, receives professional advice, and doesn’t require medication.
