In mice studies, researchers at King’s College London’s Dental Institute were able to combine human gum tissue and embryonic mouse tooth primordial cells to grow implantable teeth that presented dentine, enamel and viable roots.  Apparently, these hybrid human/mouse teeth responded to natural growth signals once they were implanted in the mice.   MORE
