A Urine Test for Prostate Cancer

More that 215,000 men in the US will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, and a significant number of them will be misdiagnosed from the blood-based prostate specific antigen test. Researchers at the University of Michigan, however, are developing a test using two biomarkers found in urine that could be a more effective screening tool, not only giving an earlier reading, but one that also stages risk levels.
