Tracking Symptoms in Complex Disease

Cancer patients usually present multiple secondary symptoms, such as depression, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, joint and back pain, nausea and dry mouth. In a study of these quality of life issues, researchers found twenty-two such symptoms, with more than half of the patients under study reporting 15 complaints. While this story focuses on a more comprehensive level of care, it doesn’t mention that such symptoms might also be early signs of cancer’s presence. MORE
