DNA

Several labs have developed two dimensional and three dimensional structures out of DNA, but recently research groups in New York, Arizona and California have constructed an assembly line of DNA “nanobots” that places gold nanoparticles on a patterned surface.  This isn’t exactly a Toyota robotic assembly plant, but is does follow that line of thinking for making nano-devices and new materials.           MORE
