Sensored Contact Lens Detects Glaucoma

High intraocular pressure is a sign of developing glaucoma, and while ophthalmologists have means for measuring that pressure, they have not been able to get continuous readings. Now, a Swiss company, Sensimed (Lausanne) has a sensor-embedded contact lens that can detect that pressure and send the data wirelessly to a receiver a patients wears around the neck. MORE
