Spray-on-Skin

Avita Medical, a British regenerative-medicine company, is now marketing a kit called “ReCell.”  The kit, which is about the size of eyeglass case, has all the materials necessary to convert a small biopsy of skin basal cells into a spray capable of regrowing skin over a second degree burn area as large as fifty square inches.  The US Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine is now funding a trial of ReCell in this country.  MORE
