MIT’s NextLab Developing Health Applications for Cellphones

MIT’s NextLab challenges its students to imagine how cellphones could change the world,
based on the assumption that the next billion people who go online will be using cellphones rather than computers. This article describes one project in the Philippines that connects rural clinics’ X ray service to a central image reading center.
