Rounding Robot

At Rochester General Hospital (NY), physicians have used a robot with two way video capability, a telephone (for more confidential discussion), a printer, and digital stethoscope to conduct more than 500 consultations in dermatology, bariatric surgery, urology, cardiology, and other fields.  While some may fret that this is an impersonal way to do medicine, others say that it’s more useful than a phone call.  MORE, with a picture of the InTouch Health Robot
