Complex Particles with Chemically Different Segments

A more effective anticancer chemotherapy would, at once, specifically target a cancer cell, penetrate its membrane, and deliver the killing agent.  That scenario hasn’t yet arrived, but researchers at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and the University of Michigan have developed a three-surfaced microparticle that could carry out those tasks.
