Telemedicine solutions that minimize hospital readmissions for heart failure have a pretty big target to hit. One quarter of discharged heart failure patients are readmitted within a month. Dr. Joseph S. Ross, an assistant professor of geriatrics and palliative medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, authored the study, Heart Failure published online in Circulation.
