This session will outline how Qualcomm Life is defining and connecting the wireless health network to improve lives and advance the capabilities of medical devices. Qualcomm Life is focused on device connectivity and data management and empowers medical device manufacturers to deliver wireless health quickly and easily to those who need it.  Learn also how the Qualcomm Foundation is helping to make science fiction a reality with the $10 million Qualcomm Tricorder X PRIZE.  This is a global competition to stimulate innovation and integration of precision diagnostic technologies, putting healthcare in consumer’s hands.  The winning team(s) must accurately diagnose a set of diseases independent of a healthcare professional or facility while providing the best consumer user experience.

At the end of my presentation the audience will learn about:

• how wireless medicine is being enabled by novel communication technologies and paradigms,
• how novel sensor integration will open new avenues for diagnostic medicine,
