An Ear on an Elbow

After a female soldier lost her left ear in a car crash, Army surgeons took samples of cartilage from her rib cage and formed it into the shape of an ear. Then, they transplanted the structure to her elbow area where it grew. Subsequently, the surgeons relocated this artificial ear to its location on the head where it is now growing new arteries and nerve. MORE
