An Austin, TX company, MX3 Diagnostics, is now testing its handheld digital meter for hydration levels based on a saliva sample. “Users measure hydration on a disposable strip that is then plugged into a Bluetooth-enabled device, which uploads results for monitoring and stores the data in the cloud.”   Pre-orders cost $640, with an anticipated release price of $750.
