Nose drops restore smell in mouse
Researchers at the University of Miami School of Medicine have demonstrated that, in mice, addition of adult stem cells were able to restore function to globe-like basal cells, and with that, a sense of smell. Besides wondering if this would work in humans, the next question is how this might be done similarly for hearing. MORE
