“Deep Mind’s” Automated Radiotherapy for Head and Neck Cancers

Google’s “Deep Mind” computational medicine group has partnered with University College London Hospital to automate segmetation of brain scans to guide radiation therapy for head and neck cancers. The study set is 700 anonymized CT/MRI images from former patients that will allow machine learning of the tumors’ margins, saving three out of four hours this task usually takes. MORE
