Implantable “Radio” Sensor

This YouTube video shows research engineers at the University of Michigan designing a micro-computer sensor and radio signal transmitting antenna that can be implanted through a standard hypodermic syringe to detect a diabetic’s glucose levels or a heart patient’s pulse. It is capable of sending its signal to a smartphone positioned a foot outside the body. MORE WITH VIDEO
