Discrete Molecular Imaging From Wyss

This is a follow up piece from a Tagline story on July 26 about the Wyss Institute’s research with “qPAINT” (a means of tagging molecules with fluorescent dye to observe their chemical behavior at the 5 nm level). In this instance, discrete molecular imaging (DMI) is applied to identifying peptide or polypeptide components of proteins involved in protein-protein interactions. What they are enabling is discovery in the molecular signatures of disease. MORE
