ONVI Prophix Video Toothbrush

Chicago-based startup ONVI has announced that its video enabled toothbrush, “Prophix,” will go on sale next year for $399 (though it’s taking preorders now for $299). The camera records the oral cavity in 1080p resolution and streams the images to a smartphone or tablet. While this might seem like a frivolity to most people, chemotherapy patients need to pay close attention to their oral health, and for them this could be a useful tool. MORE
