Monitoring Glucose with Microwave

It has been known for a few years that a microwave biosensor—i.e. a dielectric resonator attached to a probe—could detect slight variations in glucose concentration in a liquid sample. But recently, scientists at Cardiff University in Wales designed a wearable microwave sensor that sends its glucose through the skin data to a smartphone. They assert that the microwave emission is quite low and safe. MORE
