“LabCorp in a Box”
February 23, 2016 | Terry Sharrer
Typical blood testing for general health covers about 35 assays for kidney function, electrolytes and minerals, liver functions, lipids, and complete blood count, which a good lab can carry out and report in about 24 hours. But, now comes an automated robotic “box” that can do those tests in 15 minutes It relies on ring shaped microsensors with imbedded probes that attract blood molecules and cause a resonance shift in light frequency. See video of how it work. The maker, Genalyte (San Diego, CA) intends to market this machine to physicians. MORE WITH VIDEO
