Georgia Tech’s Remote “Robotarium”

They call it the “Robotarium”—a new facility at Georgia Tech which allows robotics engineers across the country (perhaps internationally too) to schedule experiments, upload their programming code, watch their creations at work in real time by streaming video, and get data about the results. “A research instrument like the Robotarium has the potential to build stronger networks of collaborative research, making the whole significantly larger than the sum of its parts,” said the project leader, in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
