Thinking a Robot through Its Paces

In a remarkable demonstration of the brain-computer interface, disabled people in three European countries were able to wear an electronic-studded cap and move a remote robot by their thought processes. The patients could see the robot moving via a Skype connection and could interact with people the robot encountered. The experiment showed no difference in performance between the disabled and non-disabled people. MORE
