Cooking Robots—for Hospital Food Service?

This piece says nothing about another aspect of the autonomous hospital—food preparation. But a British company has developed a robotic chef comprised of twenty motors, and 129 sensors that can prepare 2000 dishes based on mimicking a human in the kitchen. Linked to this piece is another story about kitchen robots. Presumably this is how personalized meals could be prepared, but simply creating tasty hospital food that minimizes salt and sugar would be an advance in hospital care. MORE
