Detecting Stroke with a Smartphone

Imagine this: your eyeglasses have sensors that fit snug to the temples and are able to detect brain wave disruptions that are consistent with a stoke, and then wirelessly transmits the data to a smartphone algorithm for analysis and warning alert—with a single minute’s time. That scenario does not exist just yet, but Samsung’s engineers now have a headset instead of the eyeglass monitor and are working toward the latter. MORE
