November 11, 2014 | Terry Sharrer
Researchers at Trinity College Dublin and the University of Surry have embedded graphene into rubber bands to make a motion monitor that is sensitive enough to track respiration, pulse, and heartbeat and do so very inexpensively. Graphene imparts an electromechanical capacity. Among other uses is a neonatal breathing monitor. MORE
